"Very cool raw vegan spot complete with a real community vibe. The food is phenomenal, and I would recommend the pizza. The seating is really cool and the place is decorated in no particular fashion. Feels a lot like a little vegan retreat."

"Hidden off the beaten tracks of the Cappo strip is this authentic Italian café with all the charm and flavour. I went for brekkie on a wintery rainy day and was the first in. Service was warm and friendly. I ordered the omelet filled with sausage and mushrooms with homemade bread, and a long Mac topped up. I sat next to the wonderful tiles on which customers had left messages for the café; wonderful touch. The food and coffee came out together. Coffee was excellent, and the omelet was very good too. And for the record, they still have the $5 muffin and coffee special which is a wonderful deal for Freo. I will have to come back and try this along with their famous pastas."

"Today we had breakfast here. We've never had an issue with their food - ever. Previous visit was around 9 months ago and we were appalled to put it mildly. The day was a cold, windy wintry day. We were 'turned away' at the door - being told they don't open till 9. Every other time we had been warmly welcomed (around 8.30) and informed we were welcome to come in and order coffee but no food orders till 9 which was never a problem. Staff were not on the ball. Today was wonderful with cheery AND efficient staff only to help. Our lady is the 2nd in charge and a delight. Coffees and food sensational. My mushrooms were on point as was husband's salmon. We're back!!! Thanks so much for the fabulous experience!!"

We had the eggs Benedict which was delicious and perfectly cooked and also the shakshouka with the slow cooked sauce... amazing!!"

"We've been eating here for many times already as it's the one of the best and value for money pizza we've tried. Pizza for around $25 is not cheap but the quality for the price is just about right. Our favourites are magna pizza and poppea. Actually, these are the two that we always order and we should probably try out the other flavours too. The poppea is their version of four cheese pizza but with walnuts. We don't know a lot of pizza restaurants that include blue cheese in their four cheese pizza. You can see the ingredients are fresh as we usually sit at the bar where they prepare the pizza before they put it in their old fashioned oven."

"Beautifully made salads and hot items. I'm not vegetarian and I thoroughly enjoyed the small bowl I got with 5 different items. I was full by the end of the meal. There is a lot to choose from and it gets busy during lunch. Great value, fresh, flavourful with a lot of variety. Def try it if you're in the area."
