"Went here whilst on honeymoon and was overall very disappointed. I had the chicken kebab which was full.of chewy fat, and my husband had the lamb which he said was ok. Overall poor experience as service was lacking also. I wouldn't eat there again."

"My partner and I are from Brissy and were staying in Chevron Island for the weekend. We headed into the main strip looking for some breaky to cure our hang over. Unfortunately we made the wrong decision in choosing this place. After choosing our meal...from the menu-we then had to wait 30 minutes for it to come out which to me was strange because it wasn't as if the place was overly busy. We then watched the one chef working in the kitchen place orders up onto the counter and despite ringing the bell, the waitresses seemed to ignore it. So not only was the food cold, it sat there for so long we saw flys buzzing around it. My coffee was luke warm on delivery, our waitress wasn't rude but she certainly was not on the ball. Food was okay but nothing to rave about. Chevron social eatery, lift your game because you won't survive in an area full of competitors!"

"My friend and I went for the buffet dinner, we were served by a chinese lady who was quite friendly in the beginning until we paid for the food. The food was terrible, with limited choices. The ice cream is just a normal vanilla ice cream bought from supermarket. Kinda disappointed. Ingredients for steamboat are not fresh. The most irritating is their service. The lady kept reminding us that we had to finish all the food we took (anyway we managed to) and she served other customers much better than us. Definitely won't recommend this restaurant! After visiting this restaurant I have learnt that I should be more cautious when choosing chinese buffet.."

"Went as a group of 6 and the best entertaining night. The interaction with the chef was amazing , the more you get involved the better it is for everyone . The food is fresh and tasty (heaps of flavour)We left with sore mouths from laughing to much . We paid $300 for the night which included all our drinks and food and best of all the entertainment ( $50 each not bad for food and entertainment)"

"From the road it looks fairly ordinary. Once inside the warm rustic atmosphere is both relaxed and casual. We had the pizzas that were superb. Extras were also good."
