"This restaurant is located about 5 km west of Hameln in the gentle hills between Halvestorf and Hope. White characters with green lettering help you find it easy. The Landhotel has a cozy restaurant and a beer garden for sunny days. The menu offers a variety of German classics, mostly steaks and schnitzel, but no fish. We had the carving with mushrooms and the grill plate (steak, schnitzel and Turkey and both were delicious. But the parts were so that there was no room for dessert. For the small fooder older plates may be a good addition to the menu. For two large wine glasses, the total number for 2 persons was only 39 euros. Service was friendly and fast."

"Our hotel owner recommended La Fontana and we weren't disappointed. It was easy enough also to find a free parking place nearby in the evening. (We were staying out of town). Very attentive and friendly service from the Sicilian owners and the food was first...class too. So glad we found it."

"Recommended by friends to try this restaurant. Glad we did, the greeting was friendly made us feel at ease. The waiter spoke almost perfect English. There was a large menu choice, , laid out in a relaxed manner. The food was well presented and...the portions were good which made it good value. Although we didnt need it, they were prepared to adapt meus to suit their guests rare). During our stay in Hameln we dined here twice both times had no complaints in any area"
