"The osteria cannot be compared with any other Italian. no pizza, no spaghetti bolognese, no gnocchi no seafood salad from the glass and also pharmaceuticals on melone will not find. instead, delicious noodle dishes, filled zucchini blossoms, grilled stone mushrooms, sweet of which no person ever heard something (e.g. rape, swirling from trophea) in autumn truffle from alba. after an antipasti dish with homemade delicacies is recommended above all the fish. alici (cl. sardellen) fried, stuffed or marinated, branzino, spada, tonno and what he gets fresh. the service has to stop. because he does everything himself, usually still serves, he is often stressed. the many masters know this and come anyway. the prices are in order. cheap weine. booking!!"

"It has tasted, but: late zle are not made themselves, cheese was not strong, finished sauce, maul bags quite oily. not a bad restaurant, but also no outstanding cuisine. If you don't want to get out of the city, you can eat traditional food."

"Some Italian colleagues had recommended this picturesque restaurant near the Ulmer townhouse so I took two friends for dinner in the hope of enjoying home made, authentic Italian cooking. The interior has a pleasant atmosphere but the compliments stop here. Food was ordinary, at most,...and in my case, admittedly the most disappointed of the trio, essentially awful. I had orecchiette with salchica and being myself a pretty bad cook, I can do better than this. I would not recommend this place to anyone wanting to enjoy a good meal, food is not better than at the Mensa in the Uni"

"Osteria ii duomo is a tiny restaurant in a side street right at the ulmer square. the staff consisted of two people: the waiter/Maitre d' made of sardinia and the cook. While we waited for our food, they talked in Italian about cooking sounds and popular Italian music, to which the waiter sang when he went from our table to the kitchen. I had gnocchi in a ricotta sauce with paprika flavor. the gnocchi were airy, with exactly the right amount of sauce and with certainty belonged to the best I ever had. the spaghetti carbonara my mannes were full of smokey speck taste and fresh mushrooms. talk about Italian home cooking! So we enjoyed antipasti appetizers, two glasses wein and two dishes for about 33,00 euro. Just when we went, a group of 8-10 people came in, and the personal arranged quickly the tables and greeted them as cordial as they had done with us. I wish we could have tasted dessert, but my fantasy says it would have been great!"

"This restaurant is beautiful to sit with the old restored furniture, bright interieur and the post and beam structure. we were and had the thorny roasts, beechles and twice the Croatian plate. Although the thorny roast medium was ordered, it was quite dry and full...cooked the best feature of the Croatian platter was the delicious rice with vegetables in tomato sauce, the cevapcici were dry and tasted very like mutton and the spits was bland and dry. the beechles were delicious, but the part was very small and the few roasted bevelling on the top were quite disapointing."
