"This was our best meal in Portugal! High level of service, excellent food, excellent presentation, delicious! We ordered sautéed prawns which were beyond amazing in their delicious flavor profiles, bread and butter service were excellent my husband loved the cornbread, I preferred the rustic bread. We ordered sea bass as our shared entree came with mashed potatoes and asparagus we didn’t finish the potatoes. Good value for the money on this entree, but the excellent taste and texture of the sea bass was a highlight. Our main waiter made an excellent recommendation of an affordable white wine that was amazing. If you are in Comporta this is the place to come! We had good meals in Lisbon, but this was better."

"It's my only comment of this kind, as you can see. I spent 1h30m waiting for the meal, 2 people serving 2 rooms, completely in a panic with so much work, one of them unfriendly and arrogant. I asked for a complaints book and it didn't exist because the owner wasn't there. Surreal, a bad experience on a vacation day. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2"

"Not sure why this is the top rated restaurant in Comporta. The food was ok but pretty expensive. We had mussels and prawns to start (for the price you would expect the prawns to be deveined. They were also very overcooked). We had the razor...clam rice and sea bass to share as a main course. The rice was really tasty but the fish was battered but full of bones and still had its head and fins on. For over €40 for the one dish you would expect a bit more finesse. Service was slow and the starters did not arrive at the same time (about 7 minutes between the prawns coming out and then the mussels) Waitresses were very friendly but the waiter was pretty surly and abrupt. Not really worth the money."
