"I booked this restaurant for a birthday celebration as I passed by. When I checked reviews on trip advisor I was worried that we might have a bad meal. As it turned out we had a great meal. The menu was not that easy to disentangle but the food was good. Some of us had excellent oysters to start and some of us had mussels cooked with Bayonne ham and chorizo, delicious. Plenty of fish on the menu, some had excellent scallops while I had a perfectly cooked rack of lamb. After I had a generous portion of local Brebis cheese. Others had Rum Baba. The birthday girl had a mission to find the best Rum Baba in a Bayonne and this was the best she found, and it came with a musical candle for her birthday.All was washed down with a couple of bottles of Cote de Gascogne White, a bargain at 18 euros. I had a very good glass of red with my lamb. The service was excellent. This restaurant does not deserve to be ignored."

"Nice small place on the riverside in the Centre. Opposite Les Halles. Very friendly owner. Enjoyed on the terrace in the evening the great variety of oysters and fantastic salmon. As I said small place not for a multi stage dinner. But a welcoming place for small fresh appetite."

"We had lunch on the terrace overlooking the river. Lobster salad, pork with foie gras and risotto were all excellent. They have a fairly ambitious menu but really know how to cook! Service was professional and friendly. Would return here anytime."

"We arrived at our hotel around 9:30 and were told that not all restaurants would be open! This is France say no more! We found this nice little restaurant open and we're settled quickly into our seats. My wife was not too hungry and ordered a starter of grilled squid and a duck salad to follow. Both she said were delicious but the portions so large that either one would have been sufficient. I had lemon chicken which was very tasty. The bill was not too excessive and the food was just what we needed after a long drive from Portugal"

"For the last night of our holiday we wanted something a little special and this place did not disappoint! Loved the ambiance, the friendly staff and the food was amazing. There were excellent menu choices and the food was fresh, seasonal, well presented and perfectly cooked. Our best meal by far!"
