"We waited ages on our starters and even longer for the main to the point we just thought forget it,when we told the manager we were hit with well I have 150 covers and this is not McDonald 's and you 've only waited 12 minutes then after paying for our starters and drinks he was so rude and said don 't come back and stood behind us rushing us out.This was embarrassing in front of other customers, we have been to this restaurant alot but will certainly not be returning, our receipt shows we were in there for 1 hour 30 mins Sort your attitude out to your customers and if you can 't handle the 150 covers then don 't take the bookings or employ more staff!"

"Worst restaurant we’ve ever been to. Not only was the food bland, there was a HUGE hair in the food. When speaking to the waiter he told us the chefs were all bald however we could clearly see a girl in there/ wasn’t making it up? The staff were very rude the whole night that is what little staff there were; there was about 2 members of staff all night. It does look nice as a restaurant but would never return or recommend!"

"Beautiful Italian restaurant in summerseat. the first time I was, and I will definitely go back. everything was cooked to order and very tasty. if I had a critique, the tomaten garlauchbrot, which we ordered as a common starter, would unfortunately have been somewhat burned down and too dry, it only needed more soaking and a minute less in many. the staff was especially friendly, especially paz, that was very chatting parking was a little tight."

"As we are always looking for new restaurants, came over the hungry escape, as it was recommended. a small bistro on the main road of ramsbottom, it is a cozy little place, but never felt claustrophobic. the service was very good and the personal acceptable. the meal for 2 courses is £18, so they have set the prices over right, £22 gets them gloomy too. to eat! my wood scarf (locally shot, had a piece shot to prove it) with black pudding and beetroot was perfectly boiled, pink and playful. The red wine sauce and rhabarb koulis are a perfect game. sues mushroom risotto rich and creamy with salt dotted it was rich and delicious. the meerbrahm with spinach-mash potatoes, delicate trunk broccoli was light and tasteful, the added goat cheese added another dimension. sue just went, a huge baked wobble and cheshire cheesecake with a side salad. Of course, I had to finish it, the baked was of the best I tasted and full to the crispy with melted cheese. the deserts looked beautiful, but we had our fullness. .... next time maybe"

"Decided to eat here on a Friday night and made a last minute booking table for 2 people. We ate in the main restaurant. Arrived early expecting to have a drink in the bar as it seemed busy, but the member of staff made our table ready for us. He was very welcoming and, having never visited before, we were really impressed by the atmosphere and decor. And the size! It's like a Tardis. We had arancini to start amazing. I could have eaten this as a main, too. My husband had a pizza, which he enjoyed very much. I had chicken and potatoes. I'm not a fan of chicken on the bone but this was wonderful. For me, the best part of the meal with the tiramisu for dessert. My husband enjoyed an espresso (he'd nicked on of my arancini so was stuffed). Wonderful food. Staff were incredibly on the ball and drinks were brought out very quickly. Difficult to find the balance between speed and pushiness, the every member of staff who served us managed to do so. The only thing I would say is that I don't appreciate having a service charge added to my bill for two people dining. Whilst I generally do tip, I prefer this to be at my own discretion. On this occasion, the server removed it in advance because she had forgotten to add a side dish to our order. I honestly didn't care as I wouldn't have managed it so we tipped, but that was our choice. Wonderful food, service and atmosphere. Can't wait to return."

"Just had lunch at this lovely little place .We sat outside ,the waitress was very helpful with regards to the menu .The food was all cooked fresh and was delicious. There were 3 if us we had the meat and cheese platter to start followed by crab fritters ,honeyed chorizo, chicken thighs in lemon and almond sauce and sea beam with orange and fennel salad .Tasty bread too. Service excellent."
