"We were on the hunt for Pizza and were initially disappointed as we found most places were not serving pizza at lunch time. However this was such a nice place we decided to stop and try the home made pasta which was excellent. Very busy with locals and tour groups. Great lunch stop."

"Went there late (30min before closure but still staff found a table for us: 100% of locals inside so it must be good and I wasnt wrong! Amazing food, friendly staff and good “loud@ sardinian athmosphere inside. We really enjoyed it!"

"Nothing to complain about when it comes to food and wine, but in my opinion one can eat much better (for the same price) in one of the restaurant in the Marina area of Cagliari. Additionally, service can get extremely slow when the place is full. Overall, a good choice for those who want to eat on the beach."

"Arrived at the restaurant and was greeted by someone from the staff. They asked us to wait while preparing a table for us right where we were standing. When they are done, they just left. We stand there not sure if we can sit down or not. After waiting a few minutes for them to return, which they don’t, we sit down. After a long wait and no one attending to us we have to look up the staff on our own and ask for menus. When we order the food they inform us that one of the dishes has to be min 2 people to order. It doesn’t say so in the menu, but she tells us that’s the case. No, -I’m sorry for your inconvenience or a way to try to fix it. Just -the menu is wrong you have to be 2 people to order it. The food arrives and it’s ok. BUT service is everything and if you feel unwelcome from the moment you arrive until you leave it’s not ok. We did also talk to the staff about our concerns. And their were no effort from them trying to save the situation. I have my own restaurants and have worked in the business for over 20 years and I know that things can go wrong. We are only humans, but if a customer is unhappy, be a bit humble and owe up to your mistakes and do not come with an attitude that it’s not your fault. When we paid the bill it just felt sad to spend so much money on a bad experience."

"Manow is a cute little restaurant less than 5 minutes walk from T-hotel. They have a bistro side and a restaurant side, but I only ate at the restaurant. Inside it is super cozy with maybe 10 tables and very cute decor. The menu has about 12 options per course that are fish/meat/or veg. I had the mussel soup and the spaghetti with clams. While I waited there were excellent green olives and bread to nibble on. The mussel soup €8 was quite possibly the most delicious dish I have ever eaten! It had lots of mussels 10-15 and the soup was thick with small chunks of tomato and it was spiced with just the right amount of pepper. I scraped the bowl clean and I wish I could have ordered two! The spaghetti vongole €10 was not mind blowing at the soup but still delicious! The pasta was fresh made and was like thick spaghetti it reminded me of Japanese udon and there were lots of clams though 4-5 of mine were empty : . I still had a little room left after those 2 dishes so I ordered the chocolate souffle €4 for dessert. This was really good! I have occasionally had a better one this is one of my favorite desserts but for the price I was definitely happy. It did say on the menu that it would come with gelato but came with whipped cream instead, but the whipped cream was fine. All in all I paid less than €30 for an excellent 3 course meal and a glass of wine! with prompt and friendly service. I highly recommend this place!"

"This restaurant experience started off well, then went downhill rapidly. Restaurants open on a Monday night in September seemed a bit thin on the ground, but we stumbled across this one. We didn’t understand a single word on the menu which isn’t translated into any other languages but could see they did grilled food, which we fancied. A super helpful waiter who spoke some English talked us through the menu, showed us the grill and sat us outside, but we were too near the smoke from the grill so moved inside. The inside waiter didn’t speak a word of English or French, so we were stuck, unable to communicate. A colleague could speak English, so he came to help and we ordered fish with salad and chips and a kebab with salad and chips. The salad and chips arrived pretty speedily. And then we waited. And waited, and ate most of the chips which were going cold, then started on the salad, then waited some more. And finally the grilled meat and fish turned up. The grilled fish was fine but very overpriced in my opinion for what it was. And the kebab was poor with poor quality meat. We didn’t stay for dessert. The entire meal was one of the most expensive we had our entire holiday, and the least impressive."

"Seafood restaurant with a standard chef daily menu, with multiple options/degrees. had the menu with the aperitivos and one main course. it was enough for two as we were not very hungry (38€ for the menu, but the waitress recommends one each. for the lobster the prices are closer to 50€ per menu . the house wine comes with all the menus : all the dishes were surprisingly amazing, despite the rustic look of the restaurant. for the main we had the tomato seafood pasta, very fresh fish and delicious taste. would definitely recommend. didn’t had the red lobster, but would try it for sure on another visit"

"This seems to be very popular with the locals when we went, and so booking ahead would be a good idea. There was a succession of excellent antipasti, probably nine in all. One was ricci (sea urchins) on toast, which was in season at the time. Also smoky tasting thin aubergine slices, another aubergine dish, broad beans, and several others, mainly fish or vegetable. Pasta was also excellent, a shape similar to spaetzle with clams and mussels. Secundi was a platter of frittura (mixed fried seafood); again, better than we have had elsewhere. Dolce was Sardinian cakes/biscuits, presumably most from a local bakery, although I thought one of the cakes was made in the restaurant. There were other options also. We finished with some mirto, although limoncello was popular on the other tables. There was an excellent atmosphere here, and we very much enjoyed the evening."
