"OMG! This is NOT bar food, it is fantastic gourmet food and drinks at reasonable prices and large portions for Tapas. How have we missed this place? Maybe distance, since we are in Holly Springs, but we will now make a point to go here whenever in Cary or Raleigh. I think people look at the outside unassuming front in a strip center and don 't bother to open the door.The atmosphere is upscale trendy bar with dark lighting, stars painted on the ceiling, and artwork on the walls. There is a nice bar and cozy, but enough seating inside and out.Catalan is a fusion mix of different Latin, Asian, and American flavors. They are willing to try new things and adjust to the American palate on some of their dishes. You will not find a better, more delicious charcuterie board anywhere! Italian meats, mixed cheeses, fresh fruit and home made jam, nuts, crackers, pickled peppers, and more.Their version of a bang-bang shrimp is 4 huge jumbo shrimp battered with a light in the mouth, yet generous, crispy batter with their special sauce on a bed of lettuce.They cook their Ropa Vieja for 11 or 12 hours to make it tender and flavorful.What else is left to say? Go for brunch on weekends, or lunch, or dinner, or just drinks (but I challenge you to see the food passing by and not order at least one plate).Jorge served us and was a delight. Give it a try, this is a place worth keeping in business."

"My wife and I came here on date night tonight, got the 20 inch Quattro Carni (for meat) thin crust pizza. First time diners. After going to maybe 15 ?New York style? pizza restaurants in the greater triangle area, we finally hit a winner! I?m originally from Philly and I really miss real pizza. This was a high-gluten crust, 2?3 mm thickness, good sauce and cheese. Great service and easy vibe. It was not cooked on a screen for a pen or ?Lord forbid? a conveyor belt! We will be coming back again to try their Sicilian pizza!!!"

"Variety, quality, service and atmosphere are all fantastic! Wasabi offers a lot of menu options, so you are not afraid of sushi if that is not your thing. There is such a great variety to choose, everyone should be able to find a luxurious meal option. If you are not familiar with some of the articles or descriptions in the menu, do not hesitate to ask the staff and ask their recommendations. They are very friendly and personal and do not seem to think some time to chat and share menu insights. The Thai dumplings and shrimps in Blanket's appetizers were excellent. We could taste the different flavors in Thai dumplings, be able to observe the crabs and shirk flavors. The miraculous wrapping of the shrimps was crisp and golden. With the chicken and shrimp filling and the sweet chilli sauce this made a very delicious appetizer. The Tempura Shrimp Dinner was quite impressive in presentation and taste. The tempura has a very strong, buttery taste with light, crisp fried texture. The part was very generous and contain so many tempura fried vegetables as shrimps. The sauce was good, savory brown sauce, although I would prefer more of the sweet chilli sauce. The savory sauce delivered a beautiful counterpoint to the butterfly."
