"I spent a lot of time viewing place to eat around Cambridge and looking at their menus before deciding to visit the high flyer. I choose this venue as it had a good choice of vegetarian options and also a number of my farthers favourite dishes and as we were getting together for his birthday I felt this would be a good choice so I booked a table for our party. On arrival we were given menus with a smaller list of options on, I asked why it wasn't the menu online and wasn't given an answer. So of course pretty much all of my father's favourites were missing along with some of the vegetarian options. Service was very slow, with long gaps between being given menus, orders being taken and the food coming out. The waitress did apologise a couple of times for this, but the restaurant wasn't busy. We have eaten here a few times previously but after this last visit we won't be returning. The food was ok, but nothing special considering how long we had to wait."

"Shame as great location but terrible food that tasted microwaved. No flavour. No attention to detail. No table service. Kitchen closed half way through dinner and wasn’t told and weren’t allowed dessert as staff had gone. Focus was clearly more on being a bar as it was loud and full of drunk people. If you’re spending that kind of money on dinner. I don’t expect to queue up at the bar with 20 other people getting jugs of cocktails. Such a shame."

"Having been slightly apprehensive about going, expecting Italian dishes we could make ourselves I was blown away. The quality and freshness of the huge choice of great dishes was amazing. A drink in the sun on the courtyard area beforehand was a lovely touch. This has to be one of the most relaxed restaurants I have ever been to, there is no hurry, no second covers on the table, just relax and enjoy. I just need to improve my Italian, authentic naming left me wondering how to pronounce some of the dishes! You have to book in advance on weekends a long way ahead but midweek you should get in relatively easy. There is a reason it is so booked up..."
