"My first dinner in Melbourne was at Fratelli, starting the dining experience on a great note. I ordered the Deep Green pizza which had braised rapa, olives & mushroom (to replace the anchovies). Great dough, sauce, cheese, toppings... all that you expect from high quality pizza. For dessert, we ordered the Panna Cotta. I'm used to seeing it served flipped on a plate, but here, they left it inside the glass. It was absolutely delicious. Service was top notch too. I was actually hoping to make it back here a second time, but my trip was so short that I wasn't able. Would definitely make it back next time I'm in town."

"The food here was fantastic!! I'm Thai and it s not easy for me to find authentic Thai food in Melbourne. I wohad say most of Thai restaurant not really serve authentic but this place is different!! "The calamari rings were fresh and delicious. Our main was Linguini Marinara which was cooked after we finished the entree and minestrone soup. In the main, the scallops, calamari strips and prawns were very good but the mussels were a bit tiny. Wood fireplace and nice deco makes a good atmosphere."

"As visitors to Melbourne, we were not familiar with Northcote. It's great! High Street had wonderful architecture, and a great diversity of people and of restaurants. Think Enmore Road if you are from Sydney. I was craving a pizza, so we selected Pizza e Vino....We really enjoyed ourselves-service was attentive, the large pizza we shared was real Italian pizza with a think crisp base and not overloaded with toppings, the salad and wine to go with it were very good, and there was a real buzz in the venue. Highly recommended!"

"This place is not the easy to find. If you're heading up Spencer St with Southern Cross Station behind you look for the huge light bulb painted on the wall next to 220! Head in there and the place just appears on your left.Offering 3 distinct eating areas you can pick bench, sit at the kitchen bar or nestle yourself away in the dining area.Attentive staff, some great cocktails and flavoursome food are on offer. Try the Jerk Chicken sliders, to die for. What he menu lacks in variety it makes up for in flavour. Shared plates is the way to go.A somewhat limited beverage menu, so if you're after a good beer, maybe have that before you head out."

"I wandered in after a long walk at the city. The waiters took their time to take notice of me, although the place was not crowded. The waiter approached with a bottle of water then stood with that in hand to say I need to move to a smaller table. Apart from the fact that the place wasn't full, his attitude was rude to say the least.I walked out immediately and it serves them right; I took my money elsewhere."
