"Food not great, overcharged on bill, had to keep asking for things ie wine list, then the wine we had ordered, cutlery for main course. Nowhere to sit for a drink before the meal, the few seats they have had been reserved for people to watch Rugby. Shame as it us a lovely building, will not return. "We dropped in here after having a trip out to Melton Mowbray on our way home and what a great place. The food was absolutely amazing, the chefs did a fantastic job. We sat in the lounge area which is a delightful part of the pub to sit and enjoy a good meal whilst you relax. All the staff were very welcoming and friendly, I'll definitely be visiting again."
