"This is a simple and delightful restaurant; its speciality is 'Eclades de Moules' - see photo. A generous helping of mussels are carefully arranged on a board, then covered in pine needles which are lit. The process is repeated until the mussels are cooked. They're smoky, moist and delicious - and you come away delightfully smutty with salty ash at least all over your fingers. Yes, you get to clean up, but I wouldn't blame you for lick your fingers clean. Friendly, informal, simple and rather memorable: I'd happily go back, any time"

"A pleasant setting at the edge of the water, pleasant and friendly staff... But avoid the mussels/frites!!!!!... While we are in the middle of the mussels season, we serve you tiny rope molds, we have to look for them in the middle of the shells... In addition, they arrived served just warm, very disappointing... really bad"

"An excellent way to brighten up a rather dull Saturday. This early in the season all the seating is inside but it won't be long before diners get to choose to be outside if they wish. My feeling is that this visit was even more successful than the last. The choice of dishes was wide enough and interesting. All the plates we chose were very well presented and the service was very friendly and welcoming. Several of us started with local oysters which were quite delicious and then, in a rather moment of accord, four of chose the rognons de veau, cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. The wine list has some subtle changes from our previous visit and now includes a rather nice though perhaps slightly young St Estephe. Whatever it's age, it was very well received by my French friends (heaves inward sigh of relief! . Deserts were very light, delicious and, again, very well presented."
