"Fifty Six Union Street has been one of the best restaurants on Nantucket for many years. The food is outstanding and worth the price. The service is also excellent, and each seating area offers a different type of ambiance, all enjoyable. Sadly they are closing their doors soon. Their consistently delicious fare will be sorely missed!"

"Good selection of local beers and beautiful views of the water. It looks like it's always packed like it's in downtown. Nice place to have a drink, but as others have mentioned the food is only moderate. Needs better spices/higher quality ingredients, but overall not bad for bare food. Nice place to take a drink and enjoy the view. The staff is also friendly."
