"One of my cousin went back to vietnam, so my boss decided to take us out for dinner at this great restaurant. We ordered 3kg of steak, side dishes and 1 set of beer which had 10 different kind of beers. The atmosphere was great and we all liked it."

"Excellent tapas, friendly staff and honest pricing. I was in a night out with friends from work, we decided to start our night at The Spaniard. Busy december, full of office functions everywhere - They manage to find us a nice table, the food was impressive and the beer selection was top notch. For the rest of the night we roamed the city trying to find another bar to continue the hop, to no avail. We ended up getting back to the Spaniard for a few more drinks. Highly recommend."

"Personally I was surprised at others reviews... I loved the ambience of this little pizzeria... Authentic and cultured.Our waiter was lovely and attentive (compared with the Italian restaurants in Venezia... Read my other TripAdvisor reviews)... this is quite typical of what I have come to expect from Authentic Italian restaurants ...My Pizza was very tasty although it did lack ingredient (Lamb Catiotore)... I will return..."

"Terrible service. We ordered a glass of wine and ended up with a shot of wine in a huge glass. When we questioned the size, the bar manager came over and gave us a French lesson in wine appreciation by pouring the wine into another glass, then back into the original glass. "You see, it is a standard glass of wine". Great demonstration but the $12-50ml glass of wine you ripped us off with is now a 45ml rip off glass of wine. Maybe Frenchie was just trying to convince us that good things come small packages. Whatever helps you."

"It is appalling to see the death of an Iconic restaurant. I have frequent and the old crow so many years I have come to enjoy the lovely hospitality soothing tones of Billie holiday's voice while eating some beautiful smoked Delights that a chef with actual insight has created. Unfortunately the restaurant has now been taken over and reshaped into a generic Australian Eatery. On Entrance we were met with the service staff who informed us that the restaurant was now under new management and that the chef had changed the menu but still retained the all time favourites of Hush Puppies, dirty potatoes and brussel sprouts. After some abysmal service in which we had to ask for drinks we were finally ascertained by The Waitress who ordered us Hush Puppies advised her that we will be ready to order and assemble minutes full stop after receiving a hush puppies and wait another 20 minutes I finally had to a cost a waitress to come and take her order. We orderd the dirty potatoes the beef bourguignon and pork belly. Don't be fooled the dirty potatoes were a cheap deep fried bland comparison with a sprinkling of spring onion. Gone was the lavishes of dressing and smokey goodness. While the food was ok it lacked flavour, was overpriced and came out at different times with members of the table having to wait over 10 minutes so everyone could eat, this was followed by a complimentary salad. ( which we never had at the old crow because it was never anything to make up for). We decided to call it a night I went to the standard for a decent dessert and coffee which was lovely. It is a shame that this restaurant has been taken over by "new management". I would like to tell the management that this restaurant won't be afloat for very much longer if they keep up this level of poor service and food quality."

"A very quite and welcoming restuarant. Excellent, friendly, attentive service. The meals seemed quite expensive but the serving size was great. The marinara was huge and packed with fresh mussels, prawns, fish and squid. The pasta sauce was light and tasty. A great meal. Definitely worth a try!"

"We (a family of 4 with two children who are 5 and 8 years old) were in Elizabeth Quay and decided to stop at the Riverside Cafe to eat lunch. The menu was extremely limited, but we placed our order of two lots of her burger and an additional beer rush chip. We had been waiting for about 25 minutes and, when we were queried, discovered that all orders last for at least half an hour. While eating was okay, tickets for the Titanian exhibition). Our meals came out after 40 minutes. Maybe the café did not count on so many people to eat there, but when Elizabeth-Quay had opened only two days before and the world that parties part of it seems to be a part of the management so as not to predict anymore, not to predict anymore People.
