"I always celebrate my birthday here on a Saturday, for the prime rib and Porterhouse Saturday night specials. We celebrated our 19th anniversary on a Friday. My only disappointment was no baked French onion soup. Understandable on a Friday. Yet, they had seafood chowder as opposed to every other facility serving clam chowder. Yay! I love this place in its entirety. I have been a patron for 30+yrs. Service: Dine in"

"During the Ryder Cup, the Bread and Bean Eatery delivered my entire work team with lunch for three days. From 20 guys eat every sandwich they make we ALL give this company 5 stars!! The sandwiches are beyond what you can find at the chains. Fresh food and full of amazing ingredients. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. If you're in the area looking for a place to eat, you've found it. My favorite was her chicken salad sandwich, which is the recipe of the owner's grandmother."

"I loved this restaurant! They were so wonderful and accommodating when we came to visit the area. They are right on the water and me, my husband and dog were able to eat and drink on their balcony and just enjoy the ambiance! They were all so kind, made delicious food, and really loved our dog. BONUS: Great beer selection as well! When we are back in WI, this will be the place to go for us!"

"I’ve been going here from time to time as a kid for the past 18 years..the food USED to be good. Today was the last time i’ll be paying a visit there though. The prices used to be $8-9 and now it’s around $13 per person… It was around 3:30-ish when I arrived with my siblings and boyfriend. In total, we were a group of 5. Upon arriving, we weren’t even approached but rather I had to make eye contact with one of the ladies who worked there and then she pointed us to our booth. Now, I have no idea why she would sit us at a booth in which we ended up sitting at 2 booths because there wasn’t enough room. As she was directing us, she gave us glares and immediately off the bat gave me “weird” vibes/energy. Anyways, we got our food eventually and it was as if all the food was dried out or had been sitting there for a long time and had not been replaced. Due to the sitting out and being kept in a warm pan, the food eventually dried out and became stale. This honestly wasn’t a pleasant experience. Our waitress honestly didn’t even care or even conversed with us or communicated. Our total came to $63…which isn’t bad but we could have spent that money elsewhere. The place overall is pretty unsanitary and feels as if it was falling apart. It was also pretty dead when we went also. Lastly, Golden automatically places a tip onto your total..so technically we ended up tipping her $4 or something…when really she didn’t deserve a tip at all.. After arriving home..I threw up the food. Not because I hated the experience, but because my body was physically rejecting what I had eaten and felt nauseous the whole night."
