"This was a great place to go especially as it was windy and rain. We only called for a coffee and to watch the sea but was amazed at how many people were there, especially for dog lovers who were certainly welcomed with bowls of water and sheltered from the weather in the room that seemed to cater for them. I myself have no pets but wasn't put off by their well behaved other halves "

"It was the first time that I and hubby were in the restaurant and it won't be the last. we had an absolutely fantastic time to celebrate our high season. the staff was beautiful and very friendly. eating was amazing, I missed on the duck, but I went for the black medallions with black pudding that was delicious. my hubby had the sea bass with risotto that he enjoyed. many thanks for a wonderful night x"

"Beautiful place with pleasant personal, responsive, relaxed atmosphere. we went down the stairs and the lift up. we only had drinks. they have to pay and display for parking. that's the only negative I can think of. the beach was clean and nice to respect. I would recommend it."

"Had made an excellent meal here yesterday evening to feel very welcome and waited with the children. the eating was delious brought a doggy bag of leftovers very reasonable price performance beautiful atmosphere children enjoyed there lolly pops on the finish would recommend and be definitely back."

"Each time I come here I am delighted with the quality of the food and the genial staff. We went for a stroll along the coast and popped in on spec to see if there was any availability, fortunately for us it was between lunch and tea so there were a few spots available. We shared oysters for a starter and though the wider menu was incredibly tempting, we stuck to the old fav's one haddock and one cod and chips. I had the curry sauce to embellish this further, I must state the flavours of everything we ate without additions were superb, the extras took it to another dimension. Well Done Colmans, another great meal."

"Took shelter in here from the rain and ended up having a bite to eat. Roast beef sarny with chips and gravy was a belly buster. Good value. Very dog friendly with a 'doggy menu '. Free dog snacks on the bar. Definitely go again."
