"We ( grp of 7) literally went just to eat at this accord from chennai. We went straight to accord from chennai, we had our lunch and returned directly to chennai. We spend almost 3 hrs here from 12 to 3. We sat in the lobby for an hour, AC was not working there, it was kind of hot. Coming to Food starters was limited and not so great. Probably the best chicken Briyani anyone could expect in a star hotel. Pasta is must try dish!. The best part is desserts. There were nearly 20 desserts! Woow!! It is worth for the price tag of rs.842 (2017 Feb) u could pay jus for the desserts! Icecream was good too. This accord is the first hotel, anyone would find while entering Pondicherry. For dessert lover, this place is a heaven!"

"We went and stayed here for the breakfast buffet. It's a very nice looking restaurant. It had both South Indian and continental distribution. There were good varieties, eggs can be ordered, and there was a live dosa counter. There was also idli, vada, french toast, hot dog, muffins, croissants, donuts and dry cakes. The food tasted good and the service was good too."

1. Flavor profie of the Rice - 5/5, Flavor was unexpected to say the least. It looks like your average biriyani, but with the first smell, the first bite, flavor explosion. Like a punch from Muhammed Ali. Not spicy, balanced and carried well through the meal. <br>
2. Texture of rice & Consistency - 5/5, Excellent as well. <br>
3. Side dish - 5/5, the side dishes were a non veg based gravy and a raita. Both were very enjoyable and played with the biriyani. <br>
4. Meat - 5/5, couldn't find a single thing wrong with the meat either. Paired very well with the flavors of the rice and was an absolute delight to the palate. <br>
5. Overall - 5/5 - This is the highest score I've ever given a plate of biriyani, having eaten in very many amazing restaurants, this just adds to the reputation of this restaurant.<br>

Note: I was only able to eat at this place once, unlike my other reviews. And this was in between a biriyani "diet". And I was very hungry at that moment. So this review is definitely subject to change"

"It's on the 2nd floor of a guest house building. Ambience was okay. Fish curry was good. Kari meen fry was spoiled. Told them and they were courteous to take it back, give a new small fried fish, and didn't charge for it. So thumbs up to that."

"Good ambience, food is good! And that where the good part ends, unfortunately. We ordered indian food, and they took a lot of time for a not so large order.The service was also not upto the mark, and the waiters had to be constantly pestered and reminded by us to 'hurry up ' our order, which didnt work at all, cause it nearly took 45 mins for our first order. Quantity was also something one would be impressed with, so we had to give a second order; which turned out be an ordeal in itself. I lost the count of time by the time the second order came in. Should absolutely work on improving service."
