"I was driving through on a road trip and, well, didn't have very high hopes for meat free food in Texarkana. Taste of India was surprisingly tasty and I will go back if I'm ever passing through. It's just off the East-West I30 so very easy to reach without going out of your way. The portions were really big, like so big they lasted for two big meals. The pakora were super yummy and the mains also very good. The menu has meat but the non-meat stuff is clearly labelled and they cooked in oil not ghee. It's not the absolute best Indian food you'll ever eat but for the price and place it was excellent. Bonus tip: if you have the time and need to stretch your legs on a nice day I recommend driving the 5-10 minutes up the road to Bringle Lake state park. There's lots of picnic benches and it's a wonderful spot for lunch and a stroll."

"The food was pretty good. I'm all for trying new things in Texarkana. The smell of the food is what is warm and welcoming. Not the service, they only have one server, and you can clearly tell she isn't happy about it. Hopefully they get that fixed."
