"This restaurant has a history behind that, and a famous banquetting hall too, Famous politicians and busines men used to had nv items here on those days, My dad used to tell about the briyani taste and still they are in the business , i could not forget thier pastry shop and i think now its closed , please open it back and i had evening tea when i was working in trichy, fresh bakery items too , bachelors paradise in those days"

"I visited Trichy last week Friday, based on Tripadvisor reviews, I planned my visit from Pune to Trichy and visited Kannappa hotel and had meaningful south Indian dinner. Food was awesome with taste. Ambiance at roof top was superb..cool..breezy. I should specially thank & mention Mr. Edwin (sorry if misspelled) he was the captain but waiter for us on that night. He gave us a very warm welcome assigned table for 2 at our preferred location and taken care of us politely (always smiling) and delighted with his speedy service. When we left the Hotel, as usual I missed my Samsung mobile but he ran towards me and returned my mobile. Thank you Edwin in case if you see my comment. Yes, finally about the dessert I had Faluda WOW OMG i loved till last spoon.. superb it was. Did i ever had such delight elsewhere answer would be NO. Why it was special because it was simple but well balanced without much stuff added but right selection of critic fruits and ice cream and sauce. Overall... Great dinner. Thanks Edwin & chef & Kannappa!"
