"In the area on a holiday/break. Wanted a curry and chose Shezan on these recommendations. The food was fantastic, very good value, £11.95 starter, main, side naan). Service was too good as we were the only ones there! The food was that good I would drive an hour to get here. It would be a massive shame if this place closed. If you live near Shezan use it, don't loose it! Highly recommended!!!"

"Used to be my go to Indian take away. Haven’t ordered in a while and was disappointed tonight. Poppadoms were burnt in the middle on every single one. Chicken was it was old, tough and my knife couldn’t even cut some bits. The bits I was able to cut was veiny and red. Food was bland. Such a shame."

"Was my favourite Indian takeaway. Ordered food last Saturday, picked it up and when I got home, only minutes away, the prawn starter was cold and the dansak sauce/gravy was thin and watery. Massive let down and at £25 not cheap. Last visit to empire of India Food: 1"

"On a 3 day visit to Bath, read reviews of the restaurant, looked ok. After eating there, it felt like the food is not cooked fresh on premise, but pre-prepared and microwaved when ordered. Felt it was quite expensive for what it was. The food came out very quickly, adding to the assumption it was microwaved. Service was minimal. Whilst it was not horrible, I wouldn’t go there again. Restaurant was empty, no one else dining. Service: Dine in"
