"I love this place. It's BYOB. The Pepper Chicken is really good, similar to the Chicken 65. Today I had her Tandoori Chicken for the first time and it was incredible. This place is authentic. My immigrant brought me here as a treat and tried to feed me the whole menu. The staff here is also incredibly polite, they routinely gave us free desserts. I would recommend this place for authentic Indian food."

"I gave one star, if I could give less I would. 3 times I 've ordered take away from Indus, all on a Saturday night. The last time will be the last, and I 'll explain why. Every Saturday I 've gone to pick up the take away the restaurant has been empty, and that 's a giant danger sign, there 's always a reason for it, and it 's always bad. The first two experiences were neutral and I only again out of convenience. I placed my order over the phone. The restaurants phone has been broken each time I 've called and they can 't hear your properly. They 've failed to fix this. Twice they 've called me back on a mobile phone. But not on this last visit. When I placed my order I repeated enough rice for 5 people 3 times and got the reply yes . Placed my order at exact 715pm and got told it would be 15 to 20 minutes. Arrived to pick up 25 minutes after the call and was told to sit down and wait, which was surprising seeing as the place was empty again, only three tables of two people and every other table bare. So I paid the bill (my mistake) and took a seat. At 758pm my order was brought to me and I checked it to find there was no rice, apparently they didn 't hear on the phone and it wasn 't on my order. Order back to the kitchen to get some, and back to me again at 806pm. Then to my surprise the lady serving has the audacity to ring the rice up on the till and ask me for $15 for it. I explained I 'd been waiting for this order now for far longer than I should have, they forgot the rice and kept me waiting, their phone is and issue as usual, which they 've failed to fix even through they know it doesn 't work, and that charging me for the extra wait for what equates to a dollars worth of rice was down right rude. She says bad luck so I paid. She actually didn 't seem to understand at all the meaning behind what I was saying with regard to poor service, which is disturbing. I then asked for the manager, apparently he wasn 't there (on a Saturday night at 7 to 8pm) so the next best thing came out of the kitchen and I explained all of the above to him. He offered a refund on the rice and I told him it 's too late to win back after a bad experience. Now onto the food. Not your usual Indian, don 't expect to find all your old favourites on the menu. They seem to have made up their own in an effort to be trendy or different, fail. What you can expect is to find cheap cuts of meat, any gristle or bone in that meant won 't be cut out, they 'll cut the meat quickly with no finesse and just throw it in to cook, so watch out for chipping your teeth and other little surprises... Empty restaurants mean one thing, and I should have known before ever try this place. Never again."
