"We travel to England A LOT so are pretty familiar with pub fare and Ploughman's Lunches. The one we shared at The Fat Duck was really more a charcuterie plate than a ploughman's and that was a bit disappointing. That said, it was quite delicious and hit the spot. As did the lager & lime. Lovely friendly service and a convivial atmosphere all-around."

"Service was very good, friendly and fast. But after the mostly good reviews I was a little disappointed with the food. I try to eat at Indian restaurants a lot as I enjoy them, but the food here just didn’t taste that good and the...portion sizes were small for the money. I wished I had gone for the fish and chips next door !"

"We stumbled upon Helmand while working in the area and have come back daily since.The food is actually very, very, good. The beef Tikka (cubed beef) for example, is made of high quality beef and is cooked just right. Had it multiple days and its always very juicy, cooked perfectly, and seasoned right. Like eating mini professionally cooked steaks. Afghani styled naan bread comes with most platters and it too is delicious and different than the naan you might get at the grocery store. They have a great take on shawarma too. The staff is also great. Very funny, outgoing, personable, and kind. You can really joke around with them and feel at home. Great atmosphere.I'll stop ranting though. The bottom line is that you get 5 star restaurant quality food at simple kabab house prices, and the service is top notch. - Taylor"

"Some of the best Indian food I've had in a while - Diana Downtown is a great place to eat, lots of offerings from Tandoori to Butter Chicken. Very good drink selection too - many quality beers on tap (Blanche de Chambly) as well as good wines. Highly recommend any day of the week. Lunch specials don't run much more than $15 and are easily worth double that for what you get :)"
