"Arrived (not booked) at 5:19pm. Asked for a table of 4. There were no people in the restaurant so we were seated. 3 other tables arrived which was 2x 2s and 1x9 people. The atmosphere was very strange. No background music and a very loud...telephone ringing. Had our drinks order taken by a waitress and looked at the menu. From then on it was HORRENDOUS! We had popadoms delivered several times to keep us quiet. After 90minutes (now 6:50pm we asked where the starters were. 2 of us are pregnant and really needed to eat given how long we had been there. I asked the young waiter was there any chance of starters after the length of time. They said ‘I know. The couple next to you haven’t even had their order taken because the boss said they were not allowed because they were so busy (Saturday night- 4 tables and some takeaways) After some singing with another table to pass the time and bring the atmosphere up we decided that we had to eat as the pregnant people were really starting to flag. We told them we were leaving. Put £25 on the table for 4 beers and tap water and walked out as they were bringing over 2 starters. It was almost 7pm at this point. The manager said he was really busy and had a bit of an attitude really, like we should of been expected to wait that long. No one in the restaurant had any food at this point. Just a lot of drinks- great business idea. The couple next to us were staying the night. Good job really because if they put their order for breakfast in before they go to bed they might get something to eat eventually. Worst managed establishment I have ever encountered. Poor young staff. It was a Saturday night and the manager simply wasn’t equipped or organised enough to run a restaurant."

"Where to begin the amen over with a new name! What a disgrace be warned of there premotions order over £20 you don't receive a nice chilled botlle of coca cols but a nice bottle of Assad very own warm bottle off 42 pence cola!...And be warned of there opening times and delivery service refused us a delivery in town of Ross itself at 9:30pm on a Friday night we happily took our business else where to one of the best take a ways in town the golden horse Chinese"

"We called into The Crown on the 3 nights as we were staying close by. Stacey and Reuben offer great service and the bar has a wide choice of drinks. Staff were great with the dog. We had excellent food from the Indian restaurant highly...recommended!"

"Long wait for the food, what with current Covid guidelines. Curry was great, rice naan bread not even warm, which was not good. Staff good, all masked up, sanitiser everywhere, felt safe. Definitely Go to Wetherspoons again!"
