"My wife and I tried the India Time restaurant because it seems to be one of only two Indian restaurants in the entire Aurora/Newmarket area. What a lucky decision! The food was great and the owner/server/cook was a delight, both informative and personable.We ordered dal tarka, palak chicken, rice, and naan - all very delicious and just more than enough for the two of us. After we had finished eating, the owner asked if he could put the little bit remaining in a container for us. As he did, he told us that he had just finished making some curried lamb stew and insisted on filling up our little container with it saying "For tomorrow's lunch!"The next day, it was even more delicious than the original leftovers. WOW! Three meals for the price of two. What a refreshing gentleman in this day and age!Be warned, the restaurant is almost hidden from view in the corner of the strip plaza at the north-east corner of Yonge and Mulock in Newmarket. Also, the owner accepts no plastic, debit or credit, cash only."

"This place has outdoor dining with a selection of starters, gluten free and vegetarian options. For a special celebration (close to highway 404-Davis Drive exit), we reserved tables at Fionn MacCool’s outdoor patio. It has a nice covered area that provides shelter for half of the patio; the other half had 6-8 umbrella tables. Luckily, I requested and got 2 tables squeezed together under the open roof, because it unexpectedly started pouring rain! The indoor dining area by the washrooms would have been good for families with kids, but the sofas with tables outdoors are great for summer and fall (with outdoor heaters). Fionn MacCool’s isn’t very visible from Leslie Street, but just look for the KFC and Starbucks that it faces. I recommend the Power rice bowl and crispy cauliflower; Fionn MacCool’s famous Cobb salad isn’t as enormous and filling as before, although anything Indian will always be good. Kids might like the mashed Shepherds Pie. If seating isn’t available, you could always pick up takeout giros, drinks and baklava dessert a few doors down at Yummi Souvlaki. Main Street South and Fairy Lake (Newmarket) is nearby if people-watching is your fave pastime after eating. Just don’t forget to tip the friendly staff!"

"Had an AMAZING dinner tonight with some girlfriends. We all shared the crab fritters (my personal fav), mussels, and lobster frites to start...yumm-o!!! I had the chicken pie skillet...incredible...a must try new menu dish. Brook Alex did great making sure the full was taken care of. Hats off to the cooks for the delicious food fantastic presentation. Can't wait to go back for another great evening! ~Cheers"
