"Went during weekday for dinner. It was clearly a family owned restaurant. Lightly decorated, practical, functional. Food served on plastic ware. The food was was excellent. Lots of flavor, lots of spice. Everything tasted great. Can't wait to try something new here."

"What an amazing buffet! Often Indian buffets are often a bit bland, but not here. Great selection of food all fresh and hot. The staff was friendly the place was spotless. Don't let the exterior fool you This restaurant's amazing and a must try!"

"----- 20 Jun, 2015 -----

Still authentic Indian cuisine, attentive staff, nice music, and friendly faces! Great people and family-owned!

I wouldn't be surprised if many customers' first impression isn't the greatest when laying eyes on the building. It's unassuming, bland, and right next to "Auto Accidents Personal Injury." But please, do ignore this and step into another part of the world. While it may not be much for some, upon entry, you are immersed in the scents and colors of India. The rich colors of deep rose maroon, gold, and green matches the many spices that steam off of the food. The furniture can definitely use updating, but considering that I came here to obtain an affordable Indian food experience, we had our eyes on the 'prize', as they say (terrible at American idoms)!

In case you were unsure, the food is served buffet style. Although it is one food aisle, there are at least 14+ different dishes to choose from, plus desserts and 2 soups... read more"

"This place is pretty good for a buffet. I live really close and had gone back and forth with trying just because of the location. I was pleasantly surprised. Tasted very authentic and they kept bringing out to the buffet so everything tasted fresh. Deserts were pretty good too. Not bad for $12 a head."

"The food was amazing and the service was perfect! It is a little pricy but portion size it good!!! I have the okra for a side dish and I don't think I've ever had better okra in my life! Main was chicken saag which was very good but since I'm staying away from rice it wasn't as filling!!"

"Rules of Engagement...Im Serious. This is the couple that used to run Dhaba OKC and who probably make the best indian food in Oklahoma. The guy that runs this place has a lot of Soup Nazi in him, but his food cant be messed with. 1. This place does not have a buffet, you just order from the menu. 2. Know what you want. If you ask the guy questions, he gets ticked off and will be rude. If you dont know indian food, take someone who does cause it will save you time and his wrath. 3. Order and prepare to wait (not much during lunch but can take 30 min to 1 hr for dinner) for your food as he makes it after your order.. 4. The rest is history. No indian restaurant I have ever been to can make food as good as he does and I should know, being an indian myself. His curiies are killer. 5. What to try:- for apps try the aloo paratha for veggies and chilly chicken (dry) for carnies. Killer curries are chicken curry, goat curry, and chicken tikka masala. For veggies must haves are malai kofta, paneer tikka masala, and dal fry. His biryanis will also hit the spot. Im so glad they opened their own spot so now I dont have to go to those lame ass buffet's (Gopuram, Ajanta, Rasoi, etc) anymore. ENJOY people!!!

And remember DONT ASK QUESTIONS. Just order and wait for some of the best indian food EVER!!!"

"This was my first time eating here. As other reviewers have noted, it is not a fancy place. However, my meal was served on food service grade china dishes, and I ate it with food service standard silverware. Curiously, I was given a fork and spoon but no knife. My friend got the same silverware kit. That made for a challenge eating my mutton karrahi, but it was a challenge that I gladly accepted.

I had a restaurant.com gift certificate, and they handled it without any questions. At this place, you order at the counter, pay for your meal, and then they bring it out to you. I ordered the mutton karrahi, mixed vegetable curry, and whole wheat roti. Like Sheesh Mahal on May Avenue, the meat entrees do not come with rice or bread; you have to order those separately. That means you can't eat here for less than $10 at lunch if you want to have a good size protein and starch. However, if you don't mind having a smaller amount of protein, you can go for one of their meat biryanis.

The mutton karrahi was simply delicious. Picture chunks of mutton sitting in a thick tomato sauce flavored with jalapenos to make it nice and spicy. It hit a home run with my mouth. The roti was just the right amount of bland to quench the fire from the jalapenos. The mixed vegetable curry, however, was a mushy mess. It came with the same vegetables as in the menu description (i.e. peas, cauliflower, potatoes), but they cooked the vegetables in a generous amount of oil until the vegetables got mushy. This is the opposite of stir fry, when the vegetables come out crisp. I don't care for mushy cauliflower, so this part of my meal was only okay. On a future visit, I would like to try the spinach or okra since I enjoy those vegetables when they are cooked as long as the vegetables in my order today.

The service was friendly and attentive. We were the first lunch customers at noon. I was a bit worried when two employees opened up the restaurant just a minute before noon. I wondered if we were in for slow service. However, we were served around 12:25 pm, and it was quite possible to finish eating by 1:00 pm.

Overall, this place is worth another trip."

"My husband and i were just there. The food was so bad...looked bad tasted bad They were either too salty or spicy. Spices were not blended well. Selection was pathetic. I asked the server if the ownership has changed since the quality has changednegatively. She said, maybe it s because the cook is there only temporarily and the real chef will be back soon. So sad. Ican excuse disposables plates but bad food for a restaurant is unacceptable"
