"This was our first visit. Very nicely decorated inside. The food was wonderful and the prices were spot on. We had Butter Chicken, Chicken Curry and Chicken Korma, Chicken Pakora, Saffron Rice and garlic Naan. All were wonderful, very flavourful and good sized portions. Rice...and Naan ordered separately, as they do not come with each dish. Service was fast and friendly. Gluten free options available. I would recommend this restaurant."

"Kandahar Kababs is an Afghani Restaurant on Markham Road in Scarborough just south of Finch Av E. They have excellent beef and chicken Kababs served with salad, rice and naan on a large platter. We had the Kandahar Kabab (baby veal filet mignon), Herati (chicken) Kabab and Chapli Kababs. All the Kababs were very tasty with the Chapli very spicy. We hear that the lamb chops are also very good. Not a lot of choices for vegetarians when we visited but luckily we were mostly non-veg. Prices are reasonable with large portions for sharing. The rice was aromatic and piled up on the platter. Naans were fresh but difficult to eat without some sort of gravy. All in all, a very enjoyable and affordable meal. You order and pay up front and they call your order "
