"I had previously had a meal in the restaurant and enjoyed it, so I thought it would be a safe bet to get a takeaway. Last night I ordered what was supposed to be a Madras dish (advertised on the menu as fairly hot However,...when I got it home it was a sickly sweet bright red sauce with very little flavour (apart from sweetness), there was no spice to be tasted anywhere. This has happened to me a number of times with different restaurants and takeaways, I have ordered a particular sauce and been given a bland, bright red, sugary goop – so sweet it could pass as a dessert. I think every restaurant and takeaway that sells Indian food must have that one duff chef – let's call him Fred. Fred can only cook red."

"A cosy halal restaurant. Foods are mostly Iranian cuisine. A good selection of kebabs and stews. We tried Bargh kebab, cant say it was the best honestly. But the Bademjoon Khooresh was fantastic, with the sourness level that it was meant to have, a little fatty, but still very tasty. The rice was very nice served with a very special butter. "First time ordering from here and Will not be ordering again. I ordered Tandoori Murgh Masala (tandoori chicken cooked with minced meat in a rich spicy sauce) keema naan, special fried rice, chips and onion bahjis. Curry was bland Chips and rice was cold Naan was sour Bhajis tasted like egg"

"12 of us visited for a night out……..the place seemed clean and the service was ok but the food was hit and miss. Good starters, huge onion bajis, great rice and nan breads…..then it sort of goes all wrong….mint yoghurt had no mint, all the mains, and we had several different ones, all looked and tasted the same, hard to tell a vindaloo from a jalfrezi from a madras. Not good."
