"I'm not sure what happened, perhaps a change in ownership, but the food is very bland and the quality is poor now. It was very disappointing as we have liked their food for the past four years.We ordered, for takeout:1) Butter chicken: Sauce was very watery, 7 pieces of chicken were dry and it no longer had the nutty flavour it used to. At times, it tasted like Chef Boyardee.2) Beef vindaloo: Beef dry. Not very spicy at medium. We used to feel the heat at medium but nothing this time.3) Navrattan korma: Good amount of vegetables (peas, carrots, broccoli) but it was very bland. Chunky, thick sauce. No nuttiness. Cold when we received it.4) Naan: Nothing special but the recipe has changed. It never used to be a uniform shape but now all three pieces were the same size and shape. The quality of the food makes me think the restaurant just grabbed it from their buffet. It was edible but not enjoyable.Sadly, I have to say that we will no longer be going to Amrikkos."

"I usually drop in here if I'm anywhere near Mayfair at lunchtime. Prefer the beef and potato curry but several of the other choices are excellent too. Nan bread excellent. Very good value and friendly service."

"Positive: clean, easy to find, free parking, spacious interior, fast service, priced inexpensive, vegetarian and dessert selection available. Neg: buffet was limited compared to others. Food for thought: great for family setting, butter chicken was good, naan could be made as requested to make it crispy."

"No real experience to share. I'm in town for the BC 55+ Games and after the opening ceremonies I was wandering around downtown and decided to drop in to order some food. I seated myself opposite the bar in plain view and for the next 15 minutes the waitstaff did an excellent job of ignoring my presence. They walked past me multiple times without once acknowledging I was eventhere. I finally got up and left."
