"It was really delicious and a real touch to have Naan breads that were vegan friendly. The curry was delicious, we had a dhaal and an Aloo Ghobi, as well as Samosa, Bhaji, rice and garlic naan. I forgot to take photos because I consumed it very quickly. Only disadvantage was that they brought a non- vegan bath with the vegan order, and then said: "It comes with this bath, but it is not vegan, so I think you don't want it." But fair enough to ask better than not to mention. It's really great. Updated by previous rating on 2023 01 29"

"The atmosphere was friendly. The food was amazing. We both had entree arancini and brushetta which we shared. Then we had pasta Carbonara and Bolognise both were flavour packed. We then had desert which was a great finish to a wonderful meal. Great service as well!"

"Excellent flavours, although as a rule of thumb always order one level hotter than you actually want: the mild is code for added sugar, so go get dat medium instead.<br/>Service with a smile. Ambience is usually nil but for the odd boisterous crowd of youths doing their BYOs. Still, lovely decor and sturdy seating to wait in for your order to be ready. <br/>Oh god, and the garlic naan! Sublime. <br/>Maybe not a destination restaurant but a reliable and tasty weeknight meal for sure."

"I've been to saffron Haveli about 5 times now and I have always left 100% satisfied, I would go so far as to say that I think they do the best curries in Wellington : The Hara Barah Kebabs are a delicious starter and I think the Shahi Paneer if my fave curry of what I have tried, and I'm a meat eater! What I love as well is that my vegetarian bf has a massive selection to choose from : 10/10 recommend this place!"

"This pl is super popular when I go at lunch time during the week. There is so much on offer and prices are reasonable. I have started to get the small $9 chicken burger combo burger (meat,lettuce,carrot,onion and 1 sauce of choice) chips and a drink. It’s a total bargain and portion size is fine for lunch if you don’t want to feel bloated or over eat. The Turkish bread is amazing"
