"Delicious meal at fair prices! Ordered a collection of Special Kebab Mix 1, Hydrabadi Chicken Biryani, Malaysian Curry with a portion of steamed rice. Was given generous portions. Kebabs were delicious-nicely flavoured and tasty. Malaysian Curry was on point, nice and spicy with lots of flavour- and great alternative to Indian Curry-Something different. Being local in Ashton, dropped in a few times during work lunch time to try their Gingerbread Lattes and Ice Cream Milkshake. Will definately be going back."

"I've been 3 times now and every time it's been amazing. So much better than our favourite takeaway, we're even considering ditching the takeaway and coming here once a week instead. Staff are really friendly, haven't had a problem getting a table yet and the food although amazing is pretty reasonably priced."

"We use to go a lot to this indian, but I fear they have let standards slip. The fish meal was rather under cooked and the lamb was tough, never use to be like this. To top it all when the bill came minus the fish it was written on a scrap of paper, sorry but a VAT receipt is required by law, the owners need to up their game, next time the customer might be from customs and excise."

"We had takeaway pizza and cheese breads from shalimars last Saturday night and id say they are one of the nicest pizza takeawys we have ever had. when they were delivered they were still red hot and to me that's very important as I don't...like food when its gone cold which can happen with pizza. I will certainly be using shalimars agai"

"Not been to Zest since pre-Covid lockdown, not because of anything negative, there is a lot of choice where I live. We decided to call in last night (04/11/23) and why the heck haven't I been back in so long!!! The waiters were excellent, the restaurant was clean and well spaced out and the food.... Oh my god, the food was amazing, personally I can vouch that it was the very best Rogan Josh I have had by a mile, the rest of the party of 8 had a combination of the the following: Chicken Shashlik Chicken Biriyani Mixed Grill Chicken Tika Masala Chicken Balti Jalfrezi Mild Curry Sauce (with mixed grill) And of course Naan Bread and other sides Not one single complaint from our party, outstanding meal and so glad we went And to finish off, the bill arrived and I was pleasantly surprised, the bill was split between 2 of us for a party of 8 and it worked out less than £100 each, and that included a £10 tip......you just cant beat that value anywhere where I have eaten out recently, especially for the quality of the food and the excellent service you are getting. Will definitely be back"

"We ordered naan bread with chicken, mayo and potatoes and it was great! Very tasty and big....our friends ordered kebabs witch they liked very much! They also gave as a wonderful garlic bread which was very soft and tasty!"
