"MÉXICO Eat the World NYC review: I must have walked by this busy corner spot dozens of times before finally walking inside. I always noted to myself that I should go, but on those days a Sri Lankan restaurant further up the hill or something else was the destination. I knew somehow that the Aztec Rooster would be there the next time, just as it has been since I've been coming to Staten Island. When it finally happened, the first thing that caught my eye was the house special taco azteca, a creation made of steak, cactus, and cooked onions. It is almost too large for its tortillas, which are better than average and griddled back to life nicely. The green avocado salsa it comes with adds a nice kick and some necessary juices to the mixture."
