"Great food and great service. This was our first time in Blowing Rock, and the first restaurant we went to. It was busy, but the food came out quick. I was honestly surprised at how great the Cuban sandwich was. Our waitress, Savannah, was super friendly and gave helpful recommendations on the menu. I highly recommend!"

"My husband and I ate here for lunch on a foggy day while enjoying the downtown area. We had excellent service with a very friendly server named Matthew, he was super friendly and had great recommendations. I ordered blackened trout with Gouda grits, so yummy! My husband had the cilantro marinated trout with roasted potatoes, also amazingly delicious. We shared the apple crisp cheesecake to finish a perfect meal. We both said we would come back the next time we come to visit"

"Aside from the setting, this was a disappointment. The food was OK, but the smokey BBQ sauce on my chop sure tasted like Sweet Baby Rays. Many tables around us were having service issues with their meals. A high end mountain restaurant with no IPA's on the menu? One and out for us, much like our experience at The Beacon and Basils."

"Food and service was good. The restaurant was busy but they were able to accommodate our group. I ordered the peddling pig plate, ribs, BBQ, and sausage. The sausage was so so and over cooked. The BBQ and ribs were spot on. The only issue I had was when the credit card bill came a week later. They charged a meal that was not our group to me. Ours totaled $136 and some change, the second credit card charge was $111 and change. I disputed with the CC company and they removed and gave us credit back that day. I hope this was an accident but that is the reason for 3 stars. Watch your charges."
