"I really wanted to love this place, but I just couldn’t. It has a great look, and good music, but the parts just don’t add up much beyond “meh”. It wasn’t terrible, but there are better tacos at a bunch of places. The carne asada was uneven—some in our party got juicy meat, other dry. The chicken taco had a canned sauce taste that was really disappointing. The garbage can nachos didn’t have much zing, and it seemed like they were really trying to hit the middle of the pack. The beans and rice “platter” seemed underwhelming and overpriced. But in this golden era of microbrews, the greatest sin was that they had nothing of interest on tap. Their one, non-national brand, “power plant lager” was supposed to be like rolling rock. I know rolling rock and this was no rolling rock—it was nearly but not quite skunked in flavour. I know the place is supposed to have a “dive” flair, but plastic ware and paper cups for the sides, seemed a bit over the top. I don’t know for sure, but I suspect using disposable stuff isn’t a huge money saver, but it certainly doesn’t impress. Given Guy’s name on the place, I expected a bit of panache, or some spiciness, or edginess, or something that made the place stand out. It just didn’t deliver, and I’m not sure I’ll bother again in future."

"Stopped in as part of Sunday Funday barhop with visiting friend from Massachusetts. We had brunch earlier, so we just had snacks. The trio salsa and chips was great and plenty. My friend loved the grilled and smothered corn. We were more focused on the flavored strawberry and mango margaritas on the rocks and Patron tequila shots. Atmosphere is great, small, quaint and not quiet. Ok to talk, laugh and enjoy yourself without feeling disturbing to others. Music was good this day as well. Happy Sunday!! Thanks, Roxanne!!"

"We had the nachos (although the size was small) and guacamole for appetizers, divided by us 4. we have all different tacos. we liked the crispy dishes of cheeseburger tacos, the carne asada tacos were excellent and also got a chimi, while good, could have been left longer in frit. all in all, was good, good music. I could go back when I'm in the opposite, but I wouldn't go back just to go there."

"If I could give this place a 0 I would. We were seated and warned about short staffing which I totally understand. We waited a while but received our food, well some. My mom received her chicken which was ice cold. My cousin waited a while for his but eventually got it. My husband never received his food. We kept asking and we were pretty much snapped at (not by our waiter) that “it was coming”. We all finished eating and my husband still never received his food. I spoke to the manager to see if it could be to go and be comped. I also asked him if it would be fair for another meal to be comped for all our troubles and he said yes. Got our bill and everything was messed up. Had to remind about meals being comped. Manager said he misunderstood about the 2nd meal being comped and offered to cover half. I wanted to get out of the places so I said heck with it and that’s what was done. My aunt paid for an extra asparagus side that she didn’t order and I paid for an extra kids meal I didn’t order, but we all wanted to leave so bad we just said heck with it and paid it anyways. Very very dissatisfied."

"I enjoyed my departure in Stillwater tavern. there was a lot of parking outside and the mood was very cold. the bartender/server was patient and had an outgoing personality. the portion size was great and I enjoyed my visit!"
