"*visiting from nyc: Came on a weekday night, so was only concerned about good cocktails and enjoyable vibe. Drinks were delicious, if you're looking for well curated cocktails- this is the spot. Bar food was good for a snack to pick on. Not sure what the weekend vibe is like, but if a great cocktail is what you're looking for I would highly recommend"

"They serve Baja style mexican food. It's served fresh everyday with only the best and freshest ingredients. They have pretty good fajitas and decent grande burritos. You can't leave feeling hungry. I always leave stuffed. The prices are pretty affordable. Th atmosphere isn't the best. It's kind of dirty but the food is good and that's all I care about. They always have great service and that's what keeps me coming back."

"A simple, no frills seafood restaurant. I had the combination fried shrimp and crab cake basket with fries and slaw and it was excellent. The shrimp was lightly fried and not the least bit greasy. The crab cake had plenty of crab in it, and the slaw was a simple recipe and not soupy. Including a drink and the tip, it cost just over $20, so the price wasn't bad either."

"I’m a Jax native but have lived in Dallas for a while now. We have the best Mexican Tex Mex food in Texas. Obviously because Tex Mex was created in Texas. However, I always crave TacoLu’s Baja style tacos and food when we’re in town every month. I haven’t found anywhere that does the Carne Royale Tacos or comes close. They’re my favorite and the flavors work so well together. I wish there was more room at Bar and a bit easier to order drinks while waiting sometimes up to an hour for a table. We’ve been coming to Lu since it opened and the bar staff isn’t the most friendly on certain days. Some days they’re great. The hosts/ hostesses/ waitstaff are always amazing. I didn’t want to take off a star for the bar staff on this visit which was a Sunday early afternoon, but I wish they were consistently nice. As business owners in Jax Dallas I know it’s hard to find the perfect team and you can’t teach personality. We also bring our employees here for drinks and food to treat them. The Tamarind and Jalapeño Margaritas are always amazing! Our go to tacos are the Carne Royal the $10 taco. We’ve had all the tacos on the menu but those two never disappoint. Our sever Malakai was definitely one of the nicest servers we’ve had in a long time!"

"We decided to give this place a try since it was close to our hotel (margaritaville) We had the wings for a appetizer and they were good. I had the lone star burger with fries. It was good. The tator tots and melted queso was sooo good. The zucchini fries was good too. Service was a little slow, and customer service was a little off,but other than that it was fine. The dine in area had a pool table and other games for fun."

"Here's super yummy. I always wanted to come here, but never had the chance. Yesterday, my associate and I decided to go. they offer tofu and grilled vegetables. I personally can't handle the texture of tofu, so I decided for the grilled vegetables and subbed the cheese. oh my god, this burrito was heaven. come back. also for a large burrito and a long island. I only paid 13. so, that also adds the joyfulness of this place."
