"The staff was fantastic, food was great at a reasonable price, most rooms on the table loved the stands, I noticed a kind of fifa game for the kids and she seemed to love it! Nothing was too much trouble for everyone, would highly recommend visiting friends and family when they go to Liverpool, the whole venue was very clean and loved the fact that we free sanitary products for women in the toilets. Will definitely visit again"

"Saturday 11february we had a reservation at 7pm for my partner’s birthday. Upon arrival we noticed that a lot of the menu was already out of stock. When we booked in we were told to ‘go and wait in the bar if there is room if not come back’ After we were eventually seated, we ordered drinks which then took 40mins to be served, we enquired twice but were told they are on their way. We then ordered our food which was sadly very disappointing. The Mac cheese was cold and congealed, 5 florets of broccoli in one dish! I then had to ask for cutlery which was thrown onto the table in front of me. The table was cleared whilst people were still eating and the manager then sent over a young member of staff to say our allocated time was up. An absolutely appalling way to run a restaurant, a birthday meal ruined, a manager her couldn’t even come over to us to apologise after we were being rushed out and frankly a birthday meal ruined. The one good from the evening was that the young lady that tended our table was extremely apologetic and was very good."

"Ma Egerton's on Pudsey street is a brilliant pub that offer an excellent range of drink's and was one of the many pub's me and my twin visited while walking around Liverpool city centre. This is a very historic pub that's been open since 1846 and has many excellent fixtures and features that relate to the theatre and the silver screen and there's many pictures throughout the whole pub's interior of stars from yesteryear. We visited here early in the afternoon on a freezing day and sat in the main bar where we had beers from the Moorhouse brewery which were superb and well priced.This is a brilliant pub thats well worth visiting and so easy to get to from Lime street train station it's only a minute's walk away.(This is my 4th review of Ma Egerton's Pub). Opening Hours. Monday-Sunday-12.00-23.00. Public Transport. Train Station. Lime Street Train Station."
