"First time in Sunshine beach went to this restaurant with my family there was nobody by the door so we walked in and took a menu The “bartender/owner” said loudly sorry that’s the take away menu here take the sit down menu”. So my daughter and I proceeded to sit in a big enough table for my family who were joining us. He spoke loudly and said “have you made a booking that table is for a large group you need to book as we get very busy” there were only about 6 people in the restaurant. I apologised and asked if it’s okay as there were 5 adults and 2 children. He said again we needed to book.. we felt humiliated that he spoke so loudly to us in a disrespectful manner and left the restaurant without ordering. There was absolutely no need to talk with a raised voice to us !! I said he was racist and he said loudly don’t bother coming back (we are a south African family and recognised racism as we have been through it many times before)! Left a sour taste in our mouth"

"It looks warm & cosy, the staff are friendly, the musician is good... would be nice for a drink... but the food is "underwhelming" (I could use another word but TripAdvisor doesn't allow the use of profanities)$28 for a vegetarian pasta of lifeless, mushy veggies, the best part of the meal was the Parmesan on top. I think my university housemates served up better. The best thing about the place was the live music except for halfway through dinner the musician packed up and they put the football on the TV which sure killed the atmosphere & we left pretty quickly."

"We have been visiting Noosa for years and this has always been a favorite for a nice pizza on the river. Unfortunately it seems to have gone downhill in terms of service. The food was satisfactory and the duck pizza was still a winner. It would be nice to be offered the option of the specials at time of ordering rather than being told we hadn’t asked for that e.g we ordered 2 large pizzas which should have qualified us for 2 house drinks but because we didn’t mention it, we weren’t eligible!"
