"I asked if they had vegie tacos that were not spicy. For sure he said so he wrote down no spice! I get home and they were super spicy and not a great flavour. I tried the same tacos a few years ago and they were quite good. Very disappointing!"

"This restaurant is located on the site of the Ramada Resort and was quite mixed. It offers all day dining. We found the late lunch to be good. We had a steak and a veal schnitzel. Both came with excellent vegies of asparagus, varieties of carrot, and nice potatoes. They were good satisfying meals. They had no espresso so we skipped a coffee but shared a crème caramel sponge and a trio of vanilla, chocolate and pistachio gelato which was a very refreshing dessert. Breakfast on the other hand was below average. The opening hours of 6.30am were great for an early start. However it seemed too early for the staff. For the two mornings we were there we had to wait 10 minutes before they finished cleaning to let us in. The breakfast menu was very uninspiring. There was no fruit or yoghurt. Of the ten or so items on the menu, there was oats and the rest was a variety of eggs. We had poached eggs with hollandaise sauce and a fair serve of potato croquettes and a veggie omelette with capsicum and fetta, also with croquettes. They were decent enough meals but the lack of variety and the slow service let it down."

"Really enjoyed this pub, nice patio and friendly service. On Tuesday it is ribs special night for $9.99 which were great and incredible value for money. Get their house fries too, very good. And of course good beers on tap too. Our whole group really enjoyed their meals, this is going to be our go to pub in Penticton whenever we visit"

"The Cannery is my favorite spot to spend time with friends and family. Not only is the beer and food delicious, the staff are friendly and inviting. Kurtis Klinger, an assistant taproom manager, has an arsenal of dad jokes that will always put you in a good mood and is very helpful to his colleagues and customers of the brewery!"

"Our Server was Fabulous! For a quiet Saturday night, he had a number of tables to look after and was the only Server we saw in the restaurant that night. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and gave us some great skiing tips. Food was average (nothing special, but not something you just couldn't eat either). I would not call it fine dining but was still very good. The steak dish had some excellent unique flavors and the weekend slow roast special was EXCELLENT (it was a open face prime rib sandwich slow cooked to perfection with a nice smokey taste). Chicken Taco's were okay. French onion soup was good for a nice light ski lunch as was the Chili. As it is the only sit down restaurant/bar at the ski hill, we were able to try a variety of fare. Service on the bar side was also excellent. For a fun treat, order the gunbarrel coffee. It is a very fun showcase that only a couple of the servers are fully trained for! Very entertaining for 12 dollars and some of the proceeds go to the local fire department!"
