"Beware if using Meerkat Meals. We use Meerkat deals all the time so was so disappointed when we visited Chiquitos and found out when we presented our Meerkat Voucher at the end of our meal that one of the meals wasn’t covered in the terms...and conditions. I’d already looked at the terms and conditions which stated that the deal covered anything on the Al a Carte menu. NOWHERE on the menu is written Al A Carte. Therefore there was no indication that the section, where we selected our meal from, wasn’t covered. When I questioned the waitress about it she produced a folder of T &C’s from under her desk. Neither members of staff could provide a satisfactory answer as to why the Terms and Conditions on Chiquitos/Meerkat website were so ambiguous. The food was satisfactory but I won’t be returning. I’ve never had an issue with Meerkat meals before. This is underhand and deceptive. I will be writing to Meekcat meals and Chiquitos head office. The staff were rude and dismissive. There was absolutely no goodwill shown to us for an obviously unsatisfactory and deceptive situation. Shame on you Chiquitos."

"We visited early juli and had a wonderful meal in the late evening. the staff was friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was busy, but not crowded; they will book as early as possible to get the time they want. I had the 50-day old black angus sirloin steak and it was amazing, highly recommended if they didn't try it as it's good value comparatively on the 30-day selection. the desert was also delicious. a wonderful dinner and we would visit again."
