"The staff seemed known about celiac disease minus the waiter instruction re 'es depends on how celiac you are, whether you can have our deep fried foods'. Lol So, celiac, don't eat the deep fried foods as they don't have separate frit. They had a few options on the menu, not much, but I was sold at pig bell! It was Asian style and delish, along with seasonal vegis. The waiter made sure to inform the kitchen of celiac disease. Food was delish and I had no problems."

"We had 4 hungry children (9 14yrs) 4 adults to keep happy on a cold Monday night. 2 of them are Gluten free and one dairy free just to complicate matters. This place was perfect, great sized meals and service to match. They made everything work for everyone, were prompt and pleasant. Food was lovely, mulled wine mojitos good too. Recommend it."

"My friend and I went here for dinner tonight and it was better than we expected. We each had a stone grill meal, I chose the NZ Lamp Rump with steamed vegetables, roast potatoes and mint sauce. My friend had the Tasting Platter with steamed vegetables, green salad and mushroom sauce. The meats for both of us were delicious very tender and it was fun cooking it ourselves however that's really all that was good as the sides weren't impressive at all. Overall it was normal pub food and if it weren't for the 50 other restaurants in Queenstown we would probably come again."

"After a long morning of exploring town, we happened to stumble into Pig Whistle for lunch. The inside of Pig Whistle has a very cozy British pub feel and multiple TVs to watch sports. It was way too gorgeous out, so we decided to sit outside on their patio. <br/ <br/ We ordered the 'Brixton ' Bangers Mash- Traditional beef sausages served on a bed of creamy mash with peas and topped with homemade gravy, the Seafood Chowder, and some beer. If you 're looking for cheap beer, this is a good spot to grab a jug or two at only $8NZ a jug! <br/ <br/ The seafood chowder was different from what I 'm use to. It 's a creamy coconut, chilli and coriander sauce. It was a bit too creamy for me and on the sweeter side. I wouldn 't order this again, but glad I tried it because the seafood itself was quite delicious. <br/ <br/ The bangers n mash weren 't the best I 've ever had, but it was a good meal. I wish that they added just a little more mash since there was so much sausage and gravy. <br/ <br/ Not the most memorable meal of my trip, but if you 're hungry and in the mood for pub food maybe give this place a try. <br/ <br/ *I heard that this place has live music Friday-Sunday nights."
