"We booked this venue for a wedding pre-covid. The trouble started immediately when we were told the prices quoted on the business webpage would not be honored. The new price was $250.00 more, but the bride loved the idea of a Sunday brunch buffet for 75-100 guests. Also, we ignored the buckets placed around to catch rain from the leaky roof. Big mistake. Then covid happened. No longer could we have the desired number of guests. A buffet was out of the question. Then, receptions were canceled and weddings limited to 30. A request for part of the deposit was flat out denied, even though this business had not spent a single dime on our event. The owner said she couldn't refund money because she spent it all on the leaky roof! The owner of this business is very unprofessional- and not in a folksy, casual way. There are other, nicer, more professionally run wedding venues in Roy and nearby communities. Do not waste your time, and money, here."
