"We arrived to Aldea Zama from CUN right after 8:00pm and this place was in about 5 minutes walk from the place we stayed in. We felt tired after a long flight from Vancouver and decided to go there and rest then. Everything was amazing there - food, service, ambiance itself and especially the owner Don who came by our table personally to greet us and have a little chat about this and that."

"Was it the food that made this place special? The warm, exciting atmosphere? The liveliness of it all? In short the answer would be yes to all these things, but what really pulled it all together was the staff, friendly, authentic and high class guys who would make you forget that they are serving you and think ( or even wish) they were seated at table with you. I would mention them all by name but I don't want to embarrass anyone! Definitely a must in Tulum!"

"We had the pleasure to eat quite a few meals at Nuestra Cocina during our recent stay to : more than once we had huge portions of fresh savoury octopus, generous portions of very tender filet mignon (cooked rare, as requested, it...was easy to tell the meat was of great quality), tasty loma de puerco with rosemary, nachos and fajitas de puerco, and a few different breakfasts. Our favourites were the octopus and filet mignon but then again, everything was delicious. The two very efficient chefs do wonders in the most beautiful kitchen you've ever seen! And we have to mention the constant attention of Vanessa, our ever so professional server. She is a gem! And Guillermo, what a pleasure it was to spend some time chatting with you (in french We will most definitely see you again in weeks! Muchos besitos y gracias por todo! The atmosphere is as charming as it gets! DON'T HESITATE TO GO! When you try and imagine the most exotic/beautiful outdoor restaurant, THIS RESTAURANT IS IT! Feet in the sand, smiles all over, great food, great drinks!"

"We stopped here for our lunch that was provided by our tour. The food was good and the view incredible. The beach area was absolutely stunning as with most beach areas around here. Only complaint was every single bathroom stall was stopped up the entire time I was there and no one was doing anything to fix it. People do not seem to understand the concept of NOT flushing toilet paper even though their are clear signs so I don't think it was the establishments fault but I would be hesitant to stay here due to the lack of trying to fix it. Would come back for lunch and drinks and beach view though!"

"We enjoyed an excellent dinner at this restaurant for a very reasonable price. The service was good and the server very attentive to us. The food was great. Fish Tacos and another tasty chicken dish. Nice little outdoor seating (comfortable) and atmosphere."
