"Absolute star of a place. Waynesville is really up-and-coming. Actually it might be too popular even say that these days. I love this bar is large enough to have a ton of options and seating, it still gives that small town feel. The server we had was absolutely phenomenal. Very attentive and super friendly. Approachable and energetic, but not ever bearing. Their mimosa weekend brunch was super affordable and fun. Small mimosas but great ratio. I didn't get to eat because I wasn't hungry, but the menu looked amazing for vegetarian and nonvegetarians and most diets. Lots of local highlights. Really really love the decor of this place and vibe. Set an older building, it had beautiful wood and lighting. Great decorations and art as well. Definitely felt like a community space"

"Delightful place we stumbled upon for lunch while traveling. Delicious Caesar salad, biscuits and the best creamy onion soup I have ever had. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his seared ahi tuna! Service was excellent and we enjoyed the ambiance and atmosphere."

"Everything you want from a casual food pizza place. We ordered a colonel and I was impressed! Crunchy crust, savory toppings, paired with local beer on design. The waitress was very nice and had all possible recommendations for our next visit, which I appreciated very much. This is not a place to go if you are looking for deconstructed pizza with expensive shrimps, a wine list or fancy cocktails. It is however where you will go if you want to stamp a menu with comfortable variety with a decent price and one every day beer. Or sweet tea! Many options. Child-friendly and family-friendly, and does not require masks at this time. Also the bathroom was super clean and stylish so additional compliments for it!"

"I have eaten at Fat Buddies in Waynesville, the food is good, for the price there could definitely be more. I feel like the BBQ dinner plate is the size of a kids meal only difference is the extra side. I'm from Eastern NC, I am really disappointed that a NC BBQ restaurant doesn't offer Eastern NC sauce for the Pork BBQ, but they offer a Georgia Mustard Style Sauce it's very disappointing and frustrating because I feel like Fat Buddies could definitely step up they're quality of portions and create more sauces so I rate this restaurant a half star maybe even a one star very unsatisfied every time I've tried it. Definitely want go back and don't recommend it to anyone"
