"This is a Lovely cosy pub we were here for drinks but then decided to have some food too as the place seemed fun and had a great atmosphere. The bar staff were lovely friendly and were serving the most amazing mulled wine. our lamb pie was delicious, the recommended dishes did not disappoint. However one member of staffs behaviour was extremely odd temperamental, and seemed like he was hell bent on ruining the great atmosphere kept turning off The Christmas songs. If he cheered up a bit kept the festive spirit going we would of stayed longer. But I would definitely recommend this pub if your in town and hopefully it’s his weekend off when you visit"

"Last Friday we had 16 birthday parties for my daughter at Charley’s horse with the party of 16 people. my daughter friends left the most positive feedback. service was fantastic, eating excellent, very friendly staff, that went extra mile to make all happy, electrifying dj. everyone had a great time and went really happy. I would recommend the place very much."

"Staff couldn’t care less. No urgency to seat us and it was not busy. Not that it’s necessarily required but someone could have smiled Food had been clearly made a while before we ordered and was either reheated or refried to order. Fries were tough and chewy so had to send back, got a fresh batch which were very nice. Should have been like that the first time. My friend didn’t touch her fish tapas due to it being over cooked and chewy. Awful"
