"Just had some take away from Sitar and I was blown away with the quality. The curries were really tasty, I was truly impressed! We had kingprawn mughal, chicken dansak, kingprawn tandoori and sag aloo. The naans were great as well. We will order again when we are next in Bethesda!"

"I 'm a lover of hot curries..and I mean really,really hot curries: A Vindaloo is mild to my palate,so I thought I 'd go one step up and order a Chicken Phall from City Spice. I 'm glad to say it didn 't disappoint. The Chicken was perfectly cooked;fibrous,generous,great texture and not at all like that rubbery,watery injected stuff. (as is customary in so many Indian restaurants these days).The sauce was to die for and had the perfect pureed consistency...cooked and roasted to perfection...Thank you Chef,you have a great palate.. The meal had the taste of a true 'BIR ' (British Indian Restaurant) in the same way I remember it from the 80 's, when we used to stagger home drunk and stop at the nearest Indian restaurant on the way home. The portions are very generous too.Don 't hesitate to order from City Spice. I find that the true benchmark for any Indian restaurant/takeaway is how well they cook their hot curries...If the really hot curries are good the rest of the menu will be outstanding. I 'll definitely be a regular customer here!"

"We visited Sopna last Saturday evening. As has always been the case with takeaways the food was excellent. This was the first time eating at the restaurant however and despite booking a table a week in advance we were given a table next to the paying area and where people were collecting takeaway orders This meant constantly having people stood next to you while eating and being knocked by bags and arms. Definitely spoiled the neal despite the food being excellent. Will stick to takeaway in future"

"This has now moved to Plas Talgarth Pennal (near Machynlleth) Had 3 meals here over the course of the week, the curry is authentic Indian style, freshly made to order. Most of the dishes are spiced but not hot, though there are a few hotter options I didn't find any a particular struggle, the focus is on flavour which is amazing. There are a handful of English/pub classic dishes on offer, the fish was something my grandma adored and the children's options kept my neice happy enough The bar staff are friendly, they kept a few hard working members from the previous franchise and the family who seems to run it are hands on and friendly. Raj opened up the pub early for a corrination celebration and said that BBQs over the summer would likely be coming. I said I had a handful of ideas for the summer months and I'd post them here: When the outdoor pool is open the bar should open during the daytime (rather than 6pm) parents can/would watch their children from the terrace and offering free refills for kids soft drinks would put a lot of parents minds at ease on those hot summer days Having an on resort take away would be amazing, even if it's collection only. Running events like wine tasting or even curry tasting (when enough people are interested) could bring people in to try new things similarly a kareoke and a pub quiz night night be a way to fill the bar."

"Just back from holiday and nothing in to eat so a quick phone call to Bengal Spice with our order. Collected 30 mins later and wow! Absolutely delicious. Pickle tray, fish Karai and a chicken masala balti with coriander rice, and chapatis. Everything fresh and full of flavour. The lovely guys are so friendly and welcoming. Thank-you!"

"I ordered one away to pick up. the order was ready at any time and all the dishes were ordered as with complementary popadoms and dive. Eat was excellent we both enjoyed our meals of chicken biryani and chicken tikka masala curry. we will order from dine india again if we are in the opposite."
