"I have no idea what this used to be but it makes for a very interesting pub. On two levels, really nice layout but could be cleaner. The bar staff were OK and obviously tge prices are cheap. However, a real ale like Abbott must be kept properly and this wasn't. Cheap but poor. One meal was OK the other poor. Very soggy toast which must have been prepared some time earlier, eggs not done well (to be fair, not always easy in a large place) and the bacon was black. Not just tge edges which would be fine but 70% of it. Not good enough and as there are quite a few similar comments it's something management needs to understand (like the poor beer). I think this could be a very good Spoons but needs some work."

"Food was nice, kids meals were brilliant value. Staff were quick and really friendly. I like how if you want Carvery and have ordered other meals they come and tell you when the other meals are nearly ready so you can eat at the same time. Carvery food was hot and fresh. Booked online for 11 of us, was really easy and the table was ready when we arrived"
