"I visited Norwich today for the day and delighted a fresh juice. Finnie came to Google and I'm so glad I went there. I chose the detox juice as I love ginger and lime, and it was the best fresh juice I ever had. I also treated myself to a cinnamon wound for later and wow, it is absolutely huge and so delicious! Really friendly guys also work there, thank you! Will be back to try the curry on my next visit to Norwich."

"We quite regularly try several Indian restaurants but know we're going to get a decent meal here and service which is not too pushy but professional. The Naga is hotter than in other places more Chilla Masala strength!"

"This is a real hidden gem that I am a bit curry aficionado, that is one of the best I have tried in norwich. it is also one of the most inconceivable to look at some of the photos, so I did not expect to be impressed when I ordered. the madras I had was bursting with taste, but it was great to also get Mediterranean style stars. the delivery was also very fast in a busy night. I always come to this sleepy house recommended!"

"We always get our Indian takeaways here. The lady that answers the phone is very chirpy and always slips a few jokes in which is appreciated. The food is always delivered swiftly and promptly. Every dish I've tried here is delicious. They always make my food without milk (as I'm allergic) and it's always mouth watering. The only negatives I could say, is sometimes there's quite a lot of oil in the dishes and the last few times the curry pots have been half full, maybe they've taken on someone new or are economising as they used to always be full. It has been feeling like I paid for a main but got a side portion. And they always forget the number of mango chutneys we've ordered n paid for; they always give us one less. But I would recommend the Shah Zahan. This takeaway succeeds a lot of the Indian restaurants in Norwich. Well worth it when the curry pot's full."

"Been going there for years now, on and off. Met my wife there and had my birthday party in the room upstairs. Always like the place. Standard has been consistently very good. On the odd occasion when we have had cause to complain about something the staff have apologised, sorted it out and discounted the bill. Owner must be doing something right as they've taken over the mulberry arms (renamed as william florence) now as well whilst many places are going to the wall."

"Having been a takeaway Customer of the family who own the Taj Mahal for over 30 years, I can confidently report that this takeaway produces some of the tastiest, most succulent and luxurious Indian and Bangladeshi dishes in the UK. I've been addicted to Indian cuisine since the mid 1970s and have enjoyed Indian food at restaurants all over the world, so I can speak with at least a degree of objectivity and experience. I can therefore highly recommend the delicious food which is always freshly prepared by the Taj Mahal."

"Visit was on mon jan we were a party of and only the second table occupied at that time. friendly greetings and made welcome. plus points: the personal is pleasant and welcoming main dish food was actually very good, fresh...and well presented THAT’s it for the plus stuff! negative points: tables, bare wood, very sticky, felt not clean, needed a good shrub. menu card, writing very small, very hard to read without lupe! insistence on app or counter ordering, if there are only two young staffed and very busy. if we have to pay for each order, no “Tab” order. very limited for “deserts”, various ice creams, some strange little donuts or milkshakes. very unimaginable. the food was roughly overpriced and I had also good burgers to a fraction of the price. not a real experience and we will not be curious, sorry. zaks is a hard value for money and doesn’t pretend to be that it is not."
