"Arrived without a booking on a Sunday lunch time no problem in getting a table the management went above and beyond giving us a reserve table asking us if we could finish in a couple of hours. No problem. Mind you when you see the carvery it's big we had plumped for two meats more than generous portion we could not have eaten a pudding. We will have to go back for that another day. We could not fault this pub one bit it's so friendly. Good price for the food as well"

"Lots of Thai food available in Poole but this is the best. Not licenced so you can take your own wine. Ribs and dim sum top notch as was the green curry and their great stir fry although this trip I had Steak salad with sticky rice and a hot sauce which was superb. Lovely homely ambiance."

"We booked an early Friday evening dinner at Moonlight for three of us. We mixed up the menu a bit by ordering starters, sides and mains, all of which we wanted at the same time as the main meal. The guys did this with no problems. Chicken pathia, chicken madras we’re both tasty although not too spicy. Portions were decent but not huge. The usual accompaniments, pilau rice, keema Nan and mushroom Bhaji were also nice and tasty. Overall a nice meal, but could have been a bit spicier."
