"My wife and I celebrated our 38th wedding anniversary. We dined at 1789 to celebrate our union several times over the years. Our experience on Jan 14 2023 was excellent. Our server, Shantey, exhibited a superb understanding about each entree and made our dinner particularly memorable. She also explained how each item was prepared in a way that was easy to understand I highly encourage feasting at 1789."

"Great ambiance location but surprisingly disappointing food. We have been to the original location multiple times and it was wildly better. We got the ricotta caprese salad which had a nice freshness and flavor though small. The calamari linguine was shockingly flavorless. The (very) scarce calamari itself was rubbery not what you?d expect for a 30$ pasta. Would recommend waiting in line for the original location hope they can figure out how to bring the magic to this"

"The location is not too far into the hellish landscape, which is Atlanta traffic, parking is no problem, the food was spectacular (creative, without trying too hard), and the service was perfect. And unlike many restaurants in the city, our table was not two centimeters from someone else's table. We will definitely come back."

I found the starters to be much better than the starters and the overall food was a little over salted for my range. The tangerine beer I had was great! The staff was also very friendly."
