"The service at this place was very bad. we waited 40-45 minutes to get our food. the 1\4huh was cooked, but only slightly warm and the fryed. the rice was slightly warm and not completely boiled. After we had left the majority of the...Fries and rice, we asked to talk to the manager about it. the manager had not had the courtesy to come out and talk to us, but the waitress instructed to remove $2.99 from our bill for the uncooked rice. there were a series of people who bump into each other in the kitchen, and another group was busy talking and going out in and out of the back door. we will not return to this place. for those who do it. bon appetit."

"My wife is an abusive alcoholic who I stay with for the kids. Once a week I come to Swiss Chalet for the warm smile of Kim. She gives me a week’s worth of happiness and strength. The twinkle in her eye when she places down my meal is the reason I keep going. Her kind heart and soul is why I keep coming back. The decent chicken immediately becomes a gourmet Gordon Ramsey dish as soon as she touches the plate."

"Visited this location last Saturday 6th while visiting close relatives in Kitchener. Went there for late lunch; great timing as the restaurant was not busy. Food was great; I chose the ribs as did my son. Hadn't had ribs at SC in a long time; they were great! I must add service was excellent; our server Zena was top notch, with suggestions, details, and overall conversation. I thought I was full after munching on the ribs; Zena suggested the cheesecake. She was right; how could I say no to cheesecake after ribs, on a Saturday afternoon? Well worth the time, effort, and spent here. Owners are doing a magnificent job with staff now after covid19 issues. Bravo to all there! I'll be back soon!!"
